Jonathan came out of his bedroom tonight about 5 times after he went to "bed."  Each time it was clear that he was working on some sort of an art project in there.  He needed help with his eraser, he needed more paper, etc, etc...  He finally told me that his teacher had told some of his friends at school that if they made her a nice drawing of a wildcat print she would put it up in her room.  He wanted in on that action, so he was trying to figure out how to draw a wildcat print.  I am so impressed with what he did.  As far as I know he doesn't have any wildcat print images in his room to work from...

The writing says Wildcats Kindergarteners Yeah!  You will notice that there are some spelling mistakes, but considering that I don't know of anywhere in his room where he has the words wildcat or kindergarten, I think he did pretty well!  He finally brought out this drawing with explicit instructions to put it in his folder to take to school tomorrow.  I am sure his (awesome) teacher will be thrilled!
