Tonight for family night we went to the mall to play at this fun play area.  Of course, we really went to the mall to get more ram for my computer because it is running so slowly, and because it is close to Costco where I had a bunch of scrapbook pages to develop (which by the way you should check out over at http://dewaldfam.blogspot.com).  But, the kids don't have to know that right?  They thought it was a great family night - the lesson was given by Dad in the car on the way over and was based on the song Cat's in the Cradle, the treat was dinner at Costco, the activity was playing at the cool play area.  Added bonus, we got all of our errands done!  I don't think that we will be able to get away with multipurpose family nights like those much longer... Jonathan is one smart cookie.
