Today I had another quilt class, this time I was learning how to make an I Spy quilt, which by the way is going to be so very cute. I am making one for each boy and am doing my very best to have it done by the summer so that I can have them take them in the car to play I Spy with. We learned from experience that playing I Spy while driving through the wide open spaces of the west is difficult. You can only spy the road, clouds, fence, signs, mountains, fields, and trees so many times. There is not much else out there.
Mark made breakfast for the kids, and when I came out to take them to play at a friends house for the day, this is what Nicholas's face looked like. That is Huckleberry Syrup (thanks for the tasty Christmas present Grumps) all over his face. Apparently he liked it so much he was licking it up off his plate and where it spilled on the table. I didn't take the time to wipe it off (I didn't want to be late for class). At the end of the day his nose and upperlip appeared to be dyed that color because it was on for such a long time until someone else graciously cleaned his face!
