Abuela Susan came up yesterday to visit with us and have a little early Christmas celebration. Today we let Nicholas stay home from school a bit and took him to see the trains and gingerbread houses at Olbrich gardens. He loved it. Partly because he loves trains, partly because he thinks gingerbread houses are pretty special, but mostly because he got to hang out with his abuela and skip a morning of school!
