Today was supposed to be a picture of Jonathan saying goodbye to his teacher and his friends, and don't worry we have pictures of that. But today become the day that Nicholas visited the emergency room. At about three he started to tell us about how his ear hurt. When we went out to dinner to celebrate Joanthan's completion of first grade, Nicholas deteriorated quickly. He wouldn't eat, he wouldn't even sit up. So we stopped at our local emergency room on the way home. His fever weas over 102, and he has a raging ear infection. He got some medicine and sent home with instructions to rest and get lots of fluids. Hopefully tomorrow he will feel better. He is pretty adorable when he is sick, but he is so much more fun to hang out with when he is well!
