July 18th

July 18th, 2010

Dolphin's Cove is a beautiful place. There is a pool. There are water slides. The boys are both tall enough to ride all the rides. After the great success of spending a few hours at Dolphin's Cove yesterday, the boys said they wanted to go back today. So this afternoon we went again and relaxed while the kids slid themselves silly. The green slide is for 42" and up, and is a narrow dark slide that you slide alone. The purple one is for 42" and up to ride alone (smaller children can ride with a parent). The Purple on is wider and you ride in an inner tube. If you ride alone you use a single inner tube, if you ride with someone else you use a double. Both boys say that the purple one is their favorite. Jonathan likes to ride alone best, but Nicholas likes to ride with someone because he has a habit of rotating his inner tube around and riding part of the way backwards!

(Just in case you are wondering, nicholas is now just over 42". How did he get so tall! Jonathan is almost 54 inches - almost tall enough to ride superman/batman/iron man... you know the big rollercoasters, where you drop/hang/stand up and flip over... what happened to my little boys!)

(Also, FYI for those of you who are not local to Sun Prairie... Dolphins Cove is part of the Prairie Athletic Club. We have a membership year round to the gym, and in the summer they have an awesome waterpark that our membership gets us into for free. It is awesome.)
