I had a cute picture this morning of Nicholas in a costume. I almost put it up. But then I thought, maybe we will do something fun this afternoon, I should wait until tonight to post...

Well, this afternoon we did something fun called everyone takes a nap. Nicholas, however, did not choose to participate and waited until after we were sleeping and crept out of his rooms. Found some paints in the craft closet (acrylic of course, not washable) mixed them in a paint pallet, then made a mural on the wall in the basement.

I actually am not all that upset about the mural. It is kind of fun to look at. What I am upset about is that he set his pallet down on the couch, and touched the couch with his fingers, and there is paint all over the couch. The new couch. I know, I know, we got it cheap off of craigslist. But still. It was a great couch. I don't really want to pay to reupholster it. I don't really want to have paint all over one end of it. I don't really know how to get the paint off.
