August 13th, 2010Technically this picture was taken last night. I finally decided to take the big spaghetti squash off the vine. Hopefully it is ripe. There are a few more babies out there so if I did it wrong, I can learn from my mistake and pull it off at the right time next time. When I looked it up to see what the books said about harvesting winter squash, it said something about the vine color and hardness... time will tell. Jonthan is hoping I cook it soon!
