Tonight was the corn fest parade. Sadly my camera and I got there late because I got caught up in work and lost track of time and I missed the picture of the kids with the "Countess of Corn." But, never fear I got Nicholas getting some very special candy from a beautiful ballerina. It was so cute. He was kind of shy with her. Who wouldn't be? She looks like a princess!

The kids loved the parade, sadly it was a busy day and I was late and we had to leave before the end, but they took full advantage of the 45 minutes of time they had sitting there collecting candy from every float that passed. Hmm, I do have a meeting at work tomorrow with a lot of people, maybe I can buy their candy off of them and get rid of it at work! No one needs that much sugar in the house!
