Which picture to use? I have a fantastic photo of the amazing chips, salsa and guacamole I had at lunch (during which time I decided that it is not just the recipes that suffer in Wisconsin but the actual ingredients themselves - avocadoes that have to travel that far just don't taste as good!), I have a shot of a hilarious sign in the mission (but it might not be appropriate for all audiences...), and I have this photo... of the beautiful and loving Hailey.

I had to go with the dog. Much to my surprise it has been really hard to be away from my family for the last few days (okay, well maybe I am not that surprised. Nicholas did break his nose and all, and that is probably a major factor here...). It made me feel so much better to snuggle with a dog! And of course to have a lovely dinner with a good friend, not to say that the dog was the best part of the evening ! ... more that she just helped to quell a longing for my children and four legged friends at home!
