February 3rd, 2009Yeah, I know yesterday was Groundhog's Day, not today. But, today I was thinking about it. Why in the world would the groundhog ever stay out of his hole? Every morning when I get out of bed I have a strong desire to crawl back into my warm cozy spot, and I have only been there for a few hours... the groudhog has been hibernating for months! Also, I climb out of my warm bed onto my carpet, which, while it is not warm, is nothing like this carpet of snow that the groundhog who lives her in Sun Prairie (Jimmy is his name, and apparently he is famous, just not as famous as Phil over in Pennsylvania) found when he crawled out of his hole!
