We went to Chicago today (Schaumburg to be precise... not all the way into the city).  I had a gift card from my birthday for the container store, and the kids always love to go to Ikea.  We met up with my mom at the container store and she came with us.  It was nice to have her help when the kids got wild (it is a long day in the car), and it was nice to see her!  We ended up driving back with a completely full car.  There are several things on my list of stuff that I am trying to find in life that I found.  Most importantly I found a table for outside.  I have been looking for one of those since 2003.  Every year I look and look but they are all too big, too expensive, ugly, or too fancy.  I didn't ever even think of looking for one at Ikea... but there it was in the seasonal section.  Hooray!  Barbecues here we come!
