July 4th, 2009I have a cute picture of the boys watching the parade in Glendive, Mt where we went to get our completion of the Dinosaur trail recorded. I also have a cute picture of them in their Independence Day shirts with a flag...
But again the day was defined not by what went right, but by what went wrong. After having dinner in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, we got back on the road and were in the middle of comtemplating whether we would stop for the night or try to drive the 400 miles home when our rear drivers side tire blew... and it blew in the middle of a construction zone where cars didn't have a lane to move into, boy was that a safe place to change a tire!
So we are staying tonight in Alexandria, Minnesota, and in the morning hope to find someone to fix our tire, and figure out what caused the problem so that we can get home and sleep in our beds tomorrow night!
