Dion left the house tonight at 5 pm. He picked Nicholas up at school and then picked me up at school and we hit the road. The first day of travel always is slow, and so we are hoping that this first few hours of travel tonight gets the delays out of our system. We didn't make very good time, and stopped to sleep at around midnight (CST, 1 am EST) somewhere in Indiana. We have about 600 miles left to go tomorrow, and we hope that we wake up early and rested, and that we can get on the road and make it to DC without any problems!
