July 4th, 2010Happy American Independence Day!
Today we did some fireworks in the afternoon in the form of smoke bombs on the tree fort and party poppers. This evening we did some ground bloom flowers (seen in photo), an assortment of fountains and some morning glory sparklers... then we sent the kids to bed early so that they can get a bit of sleep before we knock them out of bed in the middle of the night to drive to O'Hare for our flight to Costa Rica at 5:50 am!
Thank goodness Mark is here to watch the house, don't know how we would have gotten Marley to a kennel with the crazy departure hour and the holiday weekend!
