July 6th

July 6th, 2010

Today consisted primarily of time in the pool. Dion and the boys walked down to see the beach, but we didn't go swimming or surfing in the ocean yet. Mostly we are just getting adjusted to a pool without a "shallow end" for Nicholas to stand up. The fun part about the pool being right outside and just for us is that we can goof off whenever and however we want. Today we were shooting each other with water guns and taught the boys to do cannonballs... and when it rained we just kept on swimming, knowing that if thunder and lightning started we were just a few steps from shelter! And since it rained almost all day today

Dion and I also got wonderful massages from a woman who brought her table to our house and set up in our room. She is a wonderful Argentinian woman who lives here in Santa Teresea, and has lived an incredibly interesting life (lets just say she speaks a whole lot of languages... and has lived on every continent except Asia... and technically Austrialia - she did live in New Zealand though! She even lived in Antartica for a while!!!)

We skipped surf lessons today because we were recovering and getting our "water legs" in our pool, but we are excited to start our surf lessons tomorrow!
